2010 Intramural Baseball, Softball and T-Ball

1st and 2nd Grade Baseball / Softball will be machine pitch. Teams will play games at SMMA and other participating South County Parishes (QAS, SFA, St Simon’s) Season will consist of ten games played on Monday, Tuesday or Saturday mornings.
SMMA will be hosting a second grade machine pitch baseball tournament at the end of the season.

Kindergarten Baseball / Softball will be coach pitch. Teams will play games at SMMA and other participating South County Parishes. Season will consist of ten games played on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Pre-K instructional league will be coach pitch. Teams will only play at SMMA on Monday evenings and the season will last ten weeks. Pre-k will be an instructional league focusing on the basic fundamentals of Baseball and Softball. It is recommended your child be four years old or able to swing a bat.

Intramural Basketball Schedule

Intramural basketball is for current 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls. It consists of a 10 week session made up of drills and informal scrimmages.

The children are divided up by their grade and gender and coached by volunteer parents. Gym times are typically on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings on a rotating basis.

The session will start the week after Christmas break. Cost is $40.00 and each child will receive a SMMA t-shirt.
